Job Introduction

Working as part of the Housekeeping Team, the Laundry Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of the linen in the Laundry to service all the Hotels requirements.

Role Responsibility

• Maintaining our luxury standards of linen for the Hotel.
• Ensuring the linen is cleaned in a timely way to meet the necessary timeframes for the Hotel
• Time management and prioritising work in order to ensure guests are receiving the best possible service
• Actively promote team work, and assist team members when in need, offering support to newer team members as necessary
• Assist the rest of the team by remaining flexible and covering hours to meet the business needs
• Constantly strive to improve our guests experience, delivering and encouraging team members to create wow experiences
• Help clean the hotel when necessary
• Safely operate cleaning machinery and any equipment in accordance with guidelines given
• Safely use cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines
• To ensure all opportunities to generate revenue for the hotel are maximised and there is a strong channel of communication between housekeeping, maintenance & reception to ensure effective, efficient and wholly beneficial operations for both staff and guests alike.
• Work with the Head Housekeeper & Front of House Manager to improve the effectiveness of the housekeeping team, providing ideas for costs savings and efficiency.
