Job Introduction
To work as part of the hotel Room Service team delivering orders to guest bedrooms in a timely, courteous and efficient manner whilst ensuring that all requests and requirements are met
Role Responsibility
Our Room Service Waiter will be responsible for;
- Ensuring our guests receive the best possible level of service at all times
- Delivering all food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a courteous, professional and efficient manner
- Engaging in polite and professional conversation with guests ensuring their satisfaction with our service is maintained
- Ensuring that all mise en place is completed on time and to the required hotel standards
- Ensuring that work stations and areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Maintaining a clear and open channel of communication with other hotel colleagues including the kitchen
- Remaining fully knowledgeable of our menus, drinks and prices
- Being fully aware of recognised accompaniments and methods of service for all dishes
The Ideal Candidate
Our successful Room Service Waiter will have;
- Experience as a waiter in a similar 4*/5* restaurant or Hotel environment
- Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
- Immaculate presentation at all times
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage
- A professional and proactive approach to guest service
- The ability to work under pressure and to multi task
- Good food and beverage knowledge
- Possess a strong understanding of the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment
- Have a creative mind with a passion and respect for the provenance of food
