We are actively seeking a Demi Chef de Partie. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Chefs brigade at The Pass at South Lodge, an Exclusive Hotel. As a Demi Chef de Partie in this one of a kind kitchen you will have the opportunity to work with a brigade of talented Chefs where ingredients and creativity are king.

You are truly on show in this kitchen; there are constant opportunities to talk with guests and share your knowledge and passion a chance not often afforded to Chefs.

Role Responsibility

Lots to do, but lots of fun

As a member of the team in this 3 AA Rosette restaurant you will be responsible for creating exciting dining experiences for our guests, that leave them happy and with great memories of food and service.

A typical day in this role will include...

  • Assisting senior chefs in the preparation for service.
  • Offering help and support to junior Chefs.
  • Contributing to amazing dishes by carefully following instructions and procedures set by senior chefs.
  • Showing at all times a full understanding of food safety and allergens safety guidelines.
  • Serving dishes to our diners and explaining what they are, answering any questions that they might have.
  • Contributing your ideas for future dishes within the restaurant.

The Ideal Candidate

Are you right for us?

Our successful Demi Chef de Partie will have a passion for food, and a creative imaginative mind. As well as this, you will need to have exceptional levels of attention to detail, be able to follow instructions and take pride in doing things well.

You will be keen to learn, be able to work in a fast paced, busy and challenging environment and do multiple things at once!

Previous experience in a similar environment would be great, but not essential.
