Job Introduction

In a Nutshell

Reporting to the Spa Therapy Manager , the Hair Salon Supervisor will play a key role in the daily operation of the Hair Salon as part of the Spa Therapy department. You will ensure the day to day management of the Hair Salon maintains the highest level of professionalism and cleanliness throughout. Develop and assess all hairdressers to ensure that you can consistently schedule treatments to ensure efficient use of facilities and hairdressers.

Role Responsibility

  • Day to day management of the Hair Salon ensuring high standards of professionalism, presentation and cleanliness throughout.
  • Consistent scheduling of treatments to ensure efficient use of facilities and hairdressers.
  • Assessment of all hairdressers, constant development and training in specialist treatments and customer service.
  • Support the consistent monitoring of stock control and retail initiatives. 
  • Provide treatments and training within the hair salon to the highest standards of service whilst supporting the Spa Therapy Manager and Spa Manger with business demands.
  • To create happiness at every opportunity for our guests.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual marketing plans and budgets covering all sales and cost elements for the department.

The Ideal Candidate

Are you right for us?

  • Hairdressing Level NVQ LEVEL 3 or equivalent
  • 3 years experience of working within a hair salon
  • Experience of at least 2 nationally recognised hair brands
  • Experience of managing a team, preferably hold a training qualification
  • You have a smiley bubbly character, full of energy and you like meeting lots of new people every day.
  • You relish working in a busy environment where no two days are the same.
  • You are a confident in dealing with people – this is important as you will need to deal with lots of us – our guests and our in house teams.
  • You are great at managing your time and coordinating others to make sure the department is run efficiently.
