Job Introduction

  • To carry out planned preventative maintenance on hotel and the spa
  • To keep technical library updated at all times with regard to PPM and emergency breakdowns
  • To be responsible for routine maintenance on all plant at the hotel site
  • To ensure the smooth running of guest facilities
  • Carry out PPM room audits
  • To produce reports when and if required.
  • To give full co-operation to any clients and colleagues requiring assistance
  • To maintain effective and productive working relationships with external suppliers and monitor quality and standards at all times.
  • To be responsible for ensuring security and supply and stock control measures for all supplies used in the department and in accordance with financial procedures
  • Comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety.
  • To attend any meetings within the Hotel, Country and Leisure Clubs as required.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Chairman, Managing Director, General Manager or Technical Services Manager

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience within the hospitality industry
  • Experience of painting, mastic, general plumbing duties
  • Keen to learn new skills
  • Punctual and well presented
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to undertake a wide range of activities
