Job Introduction

To effectively co-ordinate and support the running of the Spa Therapy Department ensuring efficient communication with supporting departments, guests and staff and to maintain consistently high levels of customer service whilst maximising revenue in all areas.

Role Responsibility

  • Day to day management of treatment areas ensuring high standards of professionalism, presentation and cleanliness throughout.
  • Consistent scheduling of treatments to ensure efficient use of facilities and therapists.
  • Assessment of all therapists, constant development and training in specialist treatments and customer service.
  • Support the consistent monitoring of stock control and retail initiatives.
  • Provide treatments and training within the therapy department to the highest standards of service whilst supporting the Spa Therapy Manager and Spa Manger with business demands.
  • To conduct such functions as interviewing, recruiting, induction, appraisals, performance management, coaching and disciplinary action to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity, in consultation with the Spa Therapy Manager and Human Resources Manager.

  • Maintain regular and effective communication within the team and at all levels throughout business.
  • Attend Property Inductions, support the planning  of  team meetings
  • Promote a professional and helpful team where by every team member gives full cooperation to any client requiring assistance with a prompt and helpful attitude and to anticipate client needs whenever possible to enhance the guest journey.
  • Conduct & plan regular quality training and coaching in a systematic and professional way to meet the needs of the business.
  • Assist in positively promoting spa and treatment sales awareness within each department and ensure sales are maximised.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual marketing plans and budgets covering all sales and cost elements for the department
  • Support the control of stock holding and develop retail side of the business whilst achieving budgeted GP%.
  • Ensure security of stock and stock control measures and in accordance with financial procedures.
  • Support and schedule corporate bookings arranging therapists rotas and spa booking systems update
  • Support the management of configuration and updates for the spa booking system
  • Use the systems provided to manage payroll and rotas
  • To create, enable and deliver Wow’s at every opportunity
  • Promote our wow purpose daily throughout the team and celebrate success & praise where due
  • To ensure you and the team are representing the  Brand consistently

  • To be an Ambassador for Exclusive Hotels and Venues at all times
  • Awareness of market trends in Spa requirements.
  • To maintain effective and productive working relationships with external suppliers and monitor quality and standards at all times.
  • To undertake and take part in any PR opportunities as required with agreement of the General Manager.
  • To attend and co-ordinate spa functions, events, members evenings
