We have an opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic and happy person to join our events team at South Lodge an Exclusive Hotel.

The team here work hard to provide the best experience to our guests, whether it’s an private anniversary lunch, company dinner, residential conference or one of the most important days in someone’s life, their wedding.

Role Responsibility

As a member of the events team your job is all about making people happy! You could be organising a golden wedding anniversary, retirement party, or somebody’s wedding day. A typical day in this role could include...

  • Process enquiries within a timely manner
  • Administration duties are maintained to a high standard
  • Accurately use internal systems for all bookings
  • Achieve targets set by Sales & Revenue Manager
  • Anticipate the guests needs to enhance the quality of service and positively promote sales to increase revenue
  • Accurately input bedroom reservations for group bookings
  • Continually communicate to all departments within the hotel in a concise manner
  • Produce accurate function sheets on maintaining 100% attention to detail
  • Assist our guests in all event planning stages to ensure events are effectively managed on property
  • Prepare and deliver show rounds to clients and sell the hotel to the best of its potential
  • To attend meetings within the hotel as required and represent the sales department

The Ideal Candidate

 

The successful candidate will have a passion for hospitality and making people happy; you will have an interest in events and sales and be keen to learn.

You will thrive in a fast paced and quickly changing environment and will enjoy talking to our guests and helping make their memories.
