Job Introduction

As Hotel Receptionist you will create a positive first impression and departure experience for our guests and will be a key contact throughout their stay.  The receptionist role entails managing and communicating information with other departments, managing guest's accounts and looking after the general housekeeping of the front of house area. You will be passionate about delivering professional, efficient and exceptional guest service at all times and will also possess strong organisational skills.

Role Responsibility

The Receptionist will be responsible for;

  • Meeting and greeting guests to ensure they receive a warm welcome, and provide all the relevant information they need for their stay
  • Providing management information to the relevant departments, i.e. arrivals and departure lists, special requests)
  • Managing arrivals and departures to ensure guests’ accounts are correct and paid on time
  • Ensuring the front of house areas are well maintained, including the display cabinets
  • Managing information for functions ensuring charges are correct and are invoiced correctly
  • Assisting with Switchboard, Concierge as required and taking of reservations, vouchers and restaurant bookings etc
