Regional Sales Manager - Southern Region

Job Introduction

In a Nutshell

We are actively seeking a Regional Sales Manager to identify and deliver Meetings, Incentive, Conference, Events, Learning and Development and Corporate room night opportunities from within the Southern territory to both the base property as well as the Exclusive Collection portfolio.

You will aim to achieve the annual sales targets of the business by pro-active sales and by providing the highest levels of customer service.

Role Responsibility

Lots to do, but lots of fun

  • Create and deliver amazing show-rounds for new potential accounts and contacts
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the effective administration and maintenance of Delphi and HART contact management system, ensuring the account and contact data is up-to-date at all times
  • Deliver group EBITDA
  • Ensure a clear strategy and sales plan is in place to deliver maximum revenue opportunity from within your dedicated territory in order to take the conference, meetings and events business forward for Exclusive
  • Understand the key business objectives and focuses, in order to deliver opportunities that complement specific business needs for all Hotels, Spas, Inn and Golf Club
  • Carry out a minimum of 36 face-to-face appointments per month with Clients within your territory
  • Support the recruitment, induction and training of any new Sales Management Team members, in order to ensure delivery of a consistent best practice across the business
  • Foster and develop effective employee relations across the entire business

The Ideal Candidate

Are you right for us?

Our ideal Regional Sales Manager will have;

  • Understanding of a luxury hospitality environment or related environment
  • A related business degree is preferred
  • Commercial acumen supported by excellent negotiation skills
  • Passionate about all areas of sales
  • Ability to drive growth, maximising sales and profitability
  • Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships
  • Self motivated and driven with ability to work well under pressure, with minimal supervision and maintain high standards and attention to detail
  • Valid clean UK driving licence
