Job Introduction

In a Nutshell

Reporting directly to the Revenue and Sales Manager and working closely under the Group Wedding Sales Manager; the Wedding Executive will proactively ensure that all weddings sales are maximised at every opportunity, ensuring conversion from enquiry through to booking completion remains consistently at the forefront of everything they do.

The Wedding Executive will also be responsible for delivering the properties confirmed weddings from the point of booking through to the wedding day itself ensuring the couple’s journey remains of the highest standard and that they experience a truly special day.

Role Responsibility

Lots to do, but lots of fun 

  • Efficiently respond to all wedding enquiries within a 24 hour period, ensuring a friendly personal response is always given. Ensures that the wider sales team are able to continue and mirror this level of response in any period of absence.
  • Comfortably and professionally contacts and coverts enquires during the sales process using a variety of different communication tools – video messaging, online appointments, phone and email.
  • Delivers outstanding face to face and virtual showrounds
  • Records full and accurate information of couples details, conversations, requirements and booking notes into HART to ensure seamless communication throughout the couple’s wedding journey.
  • Strives to meet the monthly wedding conversion target set by the Revenue & Sales Manager whilst driving the rest of the sales to help support in achieving this target.
  • Organises wedding open days and other wedding based promotional events, taking the lead in hosting them on the day.
  • Build relationships with new and existing recommended wedding suppliers, ensuring the list of suppliers chosen represents the level of service our brand represents.
  • Work alongside and develop a strong working relationship with the other departments in the hotel especially so with the operations and kitchen teams in order to create a smooth transition of communication from the planning to the delivery of a wedding.
  • Always put forward new ideas to maximise revenue and profit in all areas of the business.

The Ideal Candidate

Are you right for us?

Our ideal Weddings Executive will have;

  • Previous experience of wedding/ sales within a similar environment
  • Be confident with a positive approach to work
  • Possess outstanding guest liaison skills and be able to forge strong and professional working relationships with new people
  • Have excellent administration skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have ability to work well under pressure with a professional manner
  • Be able to demonstrate computer literacy (including Microsoft applications)
  • Proven high levels of written and spoken English
  • Immaculate personal presentation
  • This is not a Monday to Friday role - some weekend and evening work is required
