Job Introduction
As the Front of House Porter you will deliver a five star service through the entire guest journey, from the guest welcome through to their departure. To room our guests on arrival and provide information to our guests at their request on hotel and local amenities, services etc
Role Responsibility
Our Front of House Porter will be responsible for;
- Ensuring all guests receive a warm welcome as they approach the front door and reception area of the Hotel
- Ensuring all meeting rooms are set up to the guests’ specific requirements
- Taking guests to their rooms and conducting a full room orientation if requried
- Delivering and collecting guest luggage and other property with care and efficiency, including loading and unloading luggage from vehicles.
- Being fully aware of the hotel facilities and services available to guests and visitors and advise guest accordingly
- Remain fully aware of the hotels, restaurants and services provided by the Exclusive Group as a whole
- Bringing all guest compliments and complaints to the attention of the head of department
- Ensuring that you know the name, location and time of functions taking place in hotel whilst on duty
- Reporting any suspicious persons or incidents to the head of department.
- Always being well groomed, polite and pleasant to guests and colleagues alike.
- Being always dressed to the required standards of the Hotel in the uniform provided.
- Being knowledgeable on local amenities and services

Our Front of House porter will have;

- Initiative and common sense
- An innovative and inspiring approach with a keen eye for detail
- Great organisational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility in attitude, approach and working hours (to include weekends and evenings)
- Must have a full UK driving licence
