We are actively seeking an Assistant Guest Services Manager to join the team at ** INSERT PROPERTY NAME **. You will be the main point of contact for all guests ensuring everybody is happy - with an emphasis on VIPs and leisure guests, ensuring all their requirements are anticipated and exceeded during their visit. 

Role Responsibility

Our successful Assistant Guest Services Manager will be responsible for;

  • Working closely alongside the Guest Services Manager to deliver an outstanding level of service to all guests at all times
  • Ensuring a high level of engagement with guests throughout their stay to make them feel at home whilst creating a warm experience
  • Ensuring every guest receives a personal and warm greeting from all front of house team members
  • Checking VIP arrivals and liaising with Room Service, Housekeeping & Reception to have welcome cards and amenities in rooms
  • Checking guest’s profiles in advance of their stay to ensure any previous guest recovery points or requests are actioned, and the appropriate departments are aware of any sensitive or return guests
  • Ensuing special occasions are recognised and communicated effectively
  • Ensuring there is contact both pre-arrival and post-departure for all guests
  • Protecting revenue by dealing with issues quickly and efficiently, resulting in minimal cost to the business
  • Being present in the lobby at peak times
  • Having a good knowledge of other properties in the Group

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate;

  • Previous experience of working in a luxury hotel environment with equally high standards of guest service
  • Impeccable grooming standards
  • A natural desire to serve and exceed expectations of guests and colleagues
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • A proactive stance to improve standards and service
  • High level of organisation
  • Effective communicate skills
  • IT literacy
  • Flexibility in attitude, approach and working hours (to include weekends and evenings)
  • Confidence and warm personality, enthusiastic attitude
