In a Nutshell

We are actively seeking an Assistant Guest Services Manager - Nights to join the team at Fanhams Hall Hotel. You will be responsible for the Hotel, its guest and team members. You will ensure the hotel and all in it are safe and secure and to ensure any evacuations or emergency situations are handled in the proper and safe manner according to Hotel policy.

You will run night audit and manage the guest service function (including but not limited to check in, check out and reservations) throughout the shift adhering to the highest levels of guest service.

Our successful Assistant Guest Services Manager - Nights will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the overall operation of the hotel
  • Daily supervision of the reception desk including the effective delegation of tasks to the Guest Service Assistant Nights
  • Attending to guests' needs and requirements including check in and check out procedures
  • Maintain presentation of key front of house areas to include some cleaning duties
  • Deliver room service requests to guest rooms when required
  • Handle telephone enquiries including basic hotel reservations
  • Coordinate all emergency procedures in the event of any incident in and around the hotel premises and grounds including fire and other serious incidents
  • Responsible for the security and integrity of property and guests whilst on duty, whilst adhering to company policy and legislation
  • Following up guest complaints and take appropriate guest recovery action
  • Carry out Guest Service Assistant Nights duties faultlessly
  • Carry out cleaning tasks
  • Prepare early breakfast requests
  • Lead by example

  • Effective communicate skills
  • IT literacy
  • Flexibility in attitude, approach and working hours (to include weekends and evenings)
  • Ability to work on your own and through the nights
  • Confidence and warm personality, enthusiastic attitude
