You will join as an Assistant People and Culture Manager assisting the People and Culture Manager in the day to day running of the department. This is a pivotal role where culture, capability and commercial awareness come together to deliver an exceptional colleague and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with embedding engagement, communication and wellbeing initiatives

· Preparing offer and onboarding paperwork

· Maintaining accurate employee files

· Process starters, promotions, transfers and leavers within the HR system and for payroll including carry out exit interviews

· Manage and co-ordinate work placement for schools, colleges and universities

· Assist with talent acquisition for the different departments at the resort ensuring a detailed database is maintained and assisting with careers fairs and open days

· Assist with the delivery of running courses and workshops

· Ensure all compliance training has been completed

· Experience with employee relations including and not limited to acting as a note take during investigations, disciplinary and grievances


Person Specification

· Generalist HR experience, ideally within the hospitality or a service-led environment

· CIPD qualified (level 5 would be beneficial, but level 7 would be a bonus!) or equivalent with strong knowledge of UK employment law

· Proven experience across recruitment, employee relations and engagement

· You’ll have a passion for people, with a helping and supportive nature

· Skilled administrator with a high proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· Organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities

· You’ll be highly motivated and a self-starter but able to take instruction

· Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
