Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be a leader, mentor and ambassador for exceptional hospitality in our Michelin Star restaurant. Our Assistant Restaurant Manager will:
- Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of Latymer and the overall guest experience
- Lead and motivate the team during service, ensuring smooth operations and consistently high standards
- Build strong relationships with guests, confidently handling enquiries and resolving concerns professionally
- Assist with recruiting, training, coaching and developing team members
- Oversee reservations, table management and service preparation to maximise guest satisfaction
- Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation throughout the restaurant
- Support stock management, ordering processes and waste control initiatives
- Ensure effective communication between the restaurant, kitchen and wider hotel teams
- Uphold food safety, allergen procedures and health and safety standards at all times
Person Specification
You'll be a passionate, organised and inspiring hospitality professional who thrives in a luxury dining environment and takes pride in developing both people and guest experiences. As our Assistant Restaurant Manager you'll bring:
- Previous experience in a restaurant supervisory or management position, ideally within a high-quality hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team during busy service periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage with guests
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to make decisions under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering world-class guest experiences
- A professional, positive and reliable approach to work
