The Pass - South Lodge's fine dining restaurant with a newly received Michelin Star and 3AA Rosettes. Offering bold flavours in dishes using locally sourced ingredients inspired by the seasons. .

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join the front of house restaurant team and help deliver these amazing dishes and experiences to our guests.

Role Responsibility

Lots to do but lots of fun

As a Food and Beverage Assistant in The Pass you will have an all round role. This will include setting the restaurant for service and ensuring a full mis-en-place... 7 courses requires a lot of crockery and cutlery!

You'll welcome the guests to the restaurant and host their experience with us, as the restaurant offers a tasting menu, you'll not need to take orders like you would in most restaurants, but there are always questions so a full understanding of the dishes and ingredients is essential.

You will serve the dishes to the guests, while doing this explain it and answer any questions, once finished you will then clear the table and prepare for the next course.Through service you will ensure any wine flights are poured as well as providing any other drinks the table would like.

As the dining experience will naturally take some time (about 3 hours), you will have the opportunity to build a relationship with the guest, understanding from their queues the right level of engagement and interaction they would like.
