As F&B Supervisor you will always be busy looking after the team and our guests so this role will require stamina, energy and enthusiasm in spades.  We have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to be part of something special in our Restaurant Camellia. Our perfect candidate will be someone who has a passion for Food and Beverage and who knows how to communicate this to the team. 

Our beautiful location and fabulous grounds set in the Sussex countryside provides a wonderful environment to work in. 

Role Responsibility

Lots to do, but lots of fun

  • To support the day to day operation of the outlet to ensure a flawless service for our guests across all Food and Beverage outlets.
  • Work with all Food and Beverage Outlet Managers/Assistant Managers to optimise opportunities to hit and exceed budgeted targets.
  • To step in for Assistant Manager’s in their absence in all areas including service, resourcing and product offering.
  • To work as part of a team and to constantly evaluate, train and improve the experience our guests receive.
  • Assisting F&B outlets in creating and executing plans for department sales, profit and staff development.
  • Assisting the F&B outlets with table plan implementation to maximise the number of covers within the dining area’s.
  • Remains aware of business trends, systems and practices within the food and beverage industry to enable us remain current and open to opportunities to improve the profitability of the department.
  • To actively engage weekly on Hubbub (our internal communication platform) to communicate positive F and B changes and Extra Miler moments.

About the Company

  • Strong Restaurant (fine dining) and Beverage service background from within hotel or venue sector, minimum 4 star standard. 
  • Commercially astute and financially aware.
  • Ideal candidate to be level 2 WSET trained.
  • A good understanding of Cellar Management/ Stock control.
  • Be determined to create a memorable guest experience.
  • Be highly organised and adaptable to support across the five F&B outlets.
  • Proven record as a strong team leader.
  • Have an eye for detail.
  • Have an ability to supervise team members ensuring they deliver consistent quality of service.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Effective time management.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
  • Proactive and self driven with the ability to multi task.
