Job Introduction
Overall Group responsibility in delivering HART system training to all new users ensuring it is delivered to meet the needs of the customer and the user and it represents the Exclusive Hotels and Venues Brand.
Role Responsibility
To train new staff across the Group who require HART system knowledge in their roles, incorporating the training into the business functions.
Ensuring the delivery of HART training is specific to the individual and the function they work in (Front of House, Food and Beverage, Sales, Spa, Golf, Housekeeping and Maintenance) in order that the individual can give a great customer experience and follow best practice.
Create HART ‘how to manuals’ with Exclusive SOP for system Training to ensure those using the system have a reference manual.
Visit all properties on a regular basis to ensure new employees receive HART training within their first 4 weeks of joining and ensure records are kept of all training/achievements.
Monitor the training requirements for the Group by organising regular meetings with senior managers to discuss any additional HART system training needs.
Constantly review HART system and liaise with the Finance Director over any enhancements required to meet the needs of the Business.
Maximise use of HART to deliver strong controls within the business in relation to stock held in all areas and coordinate the necessary training across the business.
Develop the use of reporting with the Managers to enhance the business decisions at the properties.
Liaise with HART on any system issues/ development issues to make sure the system is working effectively for the Group.
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong hotel operational experience at manager level both back of house and front of house with experience of using PMS systems and other IT systems.
- The person requires strong people skills with proven ability to train, coach and mentor individuals.
- Experience of PMS systems, ideally HART PMS and HART POS (other PMS systems will be considered.)
- Good understanding of PMS configuration and able to relate operational issue to software provider and assist in resolving systems queries.
