As Guest Services Supervisor, you’ll be a key point of contact for our guests, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the front office team in delivering outstanding service. You’ll lead by example, handle guest queries with professionalism, and help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily front desk operations, ensuring a seamless guest journey from check-in to check-out
- Support and guide the Guest Services team, providing coaching and feedback
- Handle guest enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Liaise with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Monitor reservations and occupancy levels, assisting with room allocations and upgrades
- Maintain high standards of presentation and service across all guest-facing areas
- Assist with training new team members and promoting a culture of excellence
Person Requirements:
- Previous experience in a front-of-house or guest services role, ideally within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A natural leader with a hands-on approach and positive attitude
- Organised, reliable, and able to multitask under pressure
- Passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Flexible to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Familiarity with hotel systems (e.g., Opera or similar) is desirable
