Key Responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen and back of house areas
• Wash and store kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils correctly
• Support chefs with basic food preparation tasks when required
• Ensure waste disposal and recycling procedures are followed correctly
• Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures at all times
• Assist with deliveries and stock movement within the kitchen operation
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to maintain service standards
Person Specification
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
• Previous kitchen porter or cleaning experience preferred but not essential
