Role Responsibility
Lots to do, but lots of fun
- To focus on delivering great quality produce to our kitchens, who will incorporate this into our menus.
- To ensure the productivity of the kitchen garden, which reduces cost to the hotel.
- To liaise with the Head Chefs and develop the appropriate plan for the forthcoming season.
- To have regular communication and a strong relationship with the Head Chefs
- To participate in any garden meetings held at property.
- To be comfortable conducting Kitchen Garden Tours for our guests.
- To support the gardens team
- To perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
- Help to undertake seasonal work; hedge cutting, trees, shrubs, roses, trimming etc.
- Responsible for creating “wow experiences” in the grounds in order to meet guest expectation.
- To work as part of a team to constantly evaluate and improve the experience of our guests.
The Ideal Candidate
Are you right for us?
- Friendly disposition and customer service experience
- 2-3 years experience in gardens and a keen interest in kitchen gardening
- Ability to work both as part of a team or unsupervised
- Attention to detail
