We are actively seeking a Maintenance Assistant to ensure that the resort, to include plant, fixtures and fittings are maintained to the highest standard through both planned and reactive maintenance, adhering to Heath, Safety and other legal requirements.
Role Responsibility
Lots to do, but lots of fun
The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for…
- To carry out routine maintenance on resort associated plant and equipment.
- To keep the compliance technical library updated at all times with regard to PPM and emergency breakdowns.
- To assist with any project work within the department.
- To complete reactive maintenance jobs across the resort to ensure that everything is in order and to the right standard for our guests and golfers.
- To react to plant breakdowns or maintenance issues out of hours if required.
- To give full co-operation to any guests and colleagues requiring assistance.
- Comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety.
The Ideal Candidate
Our successful Maintenance Assistant will have;
- A proactive approach, self-motivated, will take initiative and can work alone or as part of a team
- Skills such as plumbing, general building work, decorating, carpentry.
- Experience within a maintenance department.
- Be well organised, good attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
- Able to work Tuesday to Saturday and flexible in approach
