Key Responsibilities
• Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests during the night
• Assist guests with requests, enquiries, luggage, and room service deliveries
• Carry out regular security and safety checks throughout the hotel and grounds
• Ensure public areas are clean, tidy, and presented to the highest standards
• Set up meeting rooms and public spaces ready for the following day
• Respond promptly to guest needs and support the overnight operation
• Complete night porter duties, records, and checklists accurately
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents appropriately
Person Specification
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
• Friendly, professional, and approachable manner
• Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility
• Able to work independently and use initiative
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
