Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant or F&B Manager in the daily running of service.
  • Supervise the team on shift, ensuring smooth, efficient and professional service.
  • Lead briefings, allocate tasks and check readiness before each service period.
  • Deliver warm, confident guest service and assist with handling queries or issues.
  • Maintain high standards across restaurant, bar and lounge areas, ensuring cleanliness and presentation.
  • Help train new team members and support ongoing development.
  • Monitor pace of service, communicating clearly with kitchen and bar teams.
  • Assist with stock checks, menu knowledge, and ensuring stations are fully prepared.
  • Follow food safety, allergen procedures and health & safety requirements.

Person Specification

  • Experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • Confident communicator with strong people skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and support a team during busy service.
  • Organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
  • Professional, reliable and able to take initiative when needed.
  • Positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and guest service.
