We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Spa Therapist to join our award-winning spa team. As a senior member of the department, you will lead by example, delivering exceptional treatments whilst supporting the development of the therapist team and ensuring consistently outstanding guest experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of luxury spa treatments to the highest professional and brand standards
- Lead by example in providing warm, intuitive, and personalised guest experiences
- Support and mentor Spa Therapists, sharing knowledge and promoting best practice
- Assist Spa Management with the day-to-day operation of the treatment department
- Conduct treatment observations and provide coaching to support team development
- Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and facilities consistently meet exceptional presentation and hygiene standards
- Promote and achieve retail and treatment sales targets through genuine, guest-focused recommendations
- Resolve guest queries and concerns professionally, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction
- Support training initiatives, new team member inductions, and ongoing development programmes
- Work collaboratively with the wider spa and hotel teams to deliver a seamless guest journey
Person Specification
- NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Proven experience as a Spa Therapist within a luxury spa, hotel, or wellness environment
- Previous supervisory, mentoring, or senior therapist experience desirable
- Outstanding treatment delivery skills and a passion for wellbeing
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and support others
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Commercially aware with confidence in promoting treatments and retail products
- Professional, organised, and committed to maintaining exceptional standards
- Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
